A free online register for South African owners of household and business assets, linking these vulnerable and valuable items to their rightful owners via an applied DataDot microdot, its unique PIN and the owners details as registered on the National Household Asset Register. Change a flag status of an asset in the unfortunate case of it being stolen to allow alerts for the asset to be sent out to social media of the NHAR, as well as to dedicated SAPS and other stakeholders to assist in recovery of the item. Asset look-up functionality via the DataDot PIN or asset serial number will aid in the reuniting of the asset with its rightful owner. DataDot Technology is committed to destroying the market for stolen goods and thereby reducing crime.
Requires iOS 6.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
